We'll hang out in your home and make photographs of you and your new tiny human.
Most people say the experience felt like having a friend come over.
That's the vibe I'm going for.
The Newborn Session
A 2-hour, in-home session including a mix of directed portraits and documentary photography of your baby and your family.
The experience includes a beautiful image collection of 40+ high resolution, hand edited images from your session with a curated selection of packages including varied digital and print products. A cinematic slideshow is also included, featuring 20-40 images from your session, set to music (I throw this one in to guarantee tears).

Featured In-Home Newborn Sessions
Short answer— 2 weeks to 2 months. This is totally dependent on what kind of vibe you are going for. If you want to document those first few weeks at home, when baby is tiny and wrinkly and super sleepy, then earlier is better. If you want to get a bit more settled in and capture more of babies personality, than waiting until 2 months is perfect. 4-6 weeks is usually avoided since it's usually prime baby acne time. Booking your session 2-3 months in advance is recommended.

Where, and when, do Newborn sessions typically take place?
Newborn sessions typically take place in your home starting around 10AM when the light is most ideal. I'll have you take a few quick photos of your space at that time to make sure it will work best. Outdoor Newborn Sessions are also available to those interested.
What if my house isn't 'nice' enough?
This is one of the most common concerns of most clients. Your home does NOT have to look like a Architectural Digest photograph. If you have seen my portfolio then you know that YOU are the focus, not your space (unless you would like to incorporate it). We can get most photos in 2 locations, on near a bright window and one on a flat surface in good light! I've done entire sessions in one room that still resulted in a gallery full of variety!
